		<description>Lovely...  This is a thorough and quality account of changes in the SitCom - particularly good on issues of changing representation.  

In the first papragraph you need to use specific examples when you talk about the portrayal of &#039;foreign&#039; characters.  What about &#039;It Aint Half Hot Mum&#039;

Also, when you talk about the changes to the genre - hybrids, mocumentary and so on, could you link this point to the increasing sophistication of audiences who have become very used to the conventions of this form.

All in all, I like it a lot!

What&#039;s next?  Sitcom Storyboard - a trailer or an opening to an original sitcom show.
